Built in 2008, Zhongshan Expo Center covers an area of about 250,000 m². It is a multi-function, large and modern exhibition center that integrates exhibitions, perennial exhibitions and conferences. It is a window for Zhongshan to display coordinated economic development results and a platform for the import and export trade, regional economy, technical exchange and industrial upgrading.
Adjacent to Dasin Ocean Metro Mall, Expo Center provides rich supporting facilities for entertainment and travelling merchants participating in the exhibition and activates functions of the center, which will be upgraded into a new exhibition center integrating international exhibition, high-end celebration, diversified performing activities to further enhance the window for the city to display itself to the world and promote the city to be international. 

In 2018, Dasin Holding obtained the right of management of Zhongshan Exposition Center via auction .
