The 86th Love and Caring Action by Volunteers
On July 17, 2021, Dasin Commonweal Volunteer Team once again walked into the home of the disabled youth Xiao Tong (pseudonym) and the autistic youth Ting Ting (pseudonym) to provide caring service and accompany them.
During this visit, Xiao Tong and Ting Ting were very happy to see the arrival of the volunteers, and the volunteers learned about the sisters’ current situation: The younger sister, Ting Ting, has graduated from the special school and transferred to an occupational therapy station to work with her elder sister. What made their mother gratified was that the younger sister quickly adapted to the work at the occupational therapy station. Although it was harder to pick up the two sisters, their mother was pleased to see them develop in a good direction.
Afterwards, the volunteers and Tingting looked through her graduation photo album and listened to her elaborating on her good memories of studying and living in the special school, and the portraits and names of her classmates. Ting Ting was very happy, constantly clapping her hands to express her joy. In her world, happiness is always so simple.
