On the morning of February 26, 2021, the 2021 (34th) Charity Parade in Zhongshan officially kicked off with gongs and drums. At this moment, the “Charity Carnival” was restarted after one year of waiting. From cold winter to warm spring, it is worth waiting for it! More than 160 parade teams composed of citizens and people from all walks of life continued the relay of love on Xingzhong Road, which was dressed in festive costumes, so that the new Zhongshan people who stayed in Zhongshan for the Spring Festival could feel the festive atmosphere and the power of charity.
This year’s Charity Parade teams have their own styles. In addition to local traditional cultural elements, the “Special Team for the Centenary of the Founding of the Party” composed of outstanding party members, advanced individuals, and representatives of advanced party organizations to solute to the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the “Special Team for the 110th Anniversary of the Revolution of 1911” composed of Sun Yat-sen’s relatives and descendants, descendants of participants in the Revolution of 1911, the members of the Sun Yat-sen Research Association, etc., the “Special Team of Health Guards and Anti-epidemic Pioneers”, the “Special Team of Good People and Moral Models Around”, the “Special Team of Poverty Alleviation”, the “Special Team of Rural Revitalization”, and other special teams appeared one after another, injecting new energy into the Charity Parade.
