The 77th Love and Caring Action by Volunteers

On January 30, 2021, Dasin Commonweal Volunteer Team once again walked into the home of the youth Xiao Ming (pseudonym) in need of care for a caring visit. As the Spring Festival approaches, the volunteers specially prepared Dasin Love Rice Cakes for the home visit. Xiao Ming and his grandma were very happy to see the volunteers’ arrival.

 

Xiao Ming, who is about to usher in the senior high school entrance examination, has heavy academic tasks during the winter vacation. Now he is studying carefully according to his study plan every day. He hopes that through his own efforts, he can get good results in the examination and enter an excellent senior high school in Zhongshan, so as to laying a good foundation for the quality of his future life. The volunteers are very pleased with Xiao Ming’s thought and action. Grandma had cataracts and vision loss recently, and was taking medicine to control her vision loss. Grandma told the volunteers that she hoped to keep healthy, so as to take good care of Xiao Ming, and accompany him in the future. After the volunteers knew about grandma’s wish, they encouraged grandma, and once again told Xiao Ming to understand his grandma and share her hard work.

At parting, Xiao Ming and his grandma saw off the volunteers and expressed their gratitude to the volunteers for their long-term visits: We are very grateful to you for caring for us and sending us all kinds of caring gifts. With the care and companionship of so many enthusiastic people, we feel much warm. Zhongshan is really a place of love.
The volunteers have insisted on home visits every month to convey warmth and care to social groups in need of care. In the future, Dasin will continue to stay true to its original intention and walka with them hand in hand!
