The 76th Love and Caring Action by Volunteers

On January 23, 2021, Dasin Commonweal Volunteer Team once again walked into the home of the disabled youth Xiao Tong (pseudonym) and the autistic youth Ting Ting (pseudonym) to provide caring services and accompany them, making them feel warm love and care in the winter!

 

During this visit, the volunteers specially prepared DIY materials for welcoming the Spring Festival, and they made handicrafts together with Xiao Tong and Ting Ting. Under the patient guidance of the volunteers, Xiao Tong and Ting Ting assisted the volunteers in making the Spring Festival ornaments by hand. After the handwork was completed, Xiao Tong and Ting Ting were very happy and asked the volunteers to take a photo with them, and immediately hung the ornaments in conspicuous places in the house. Elder sister Xiao Tong even invited the volunteers to make her favorite wooden house with her during their next visit, so as to build her dream home. Afterwards, Ting Ting shared some of her interesting things at school with the volunteers, and asked the volunteers to braid her favorite hairstyle for her. After finishing her hair braiding, Ting Ting was very happy and jumped happily.

 

 
Dasin volunteers insist on home visits to Xiao Tong and Ting Ting, and accompany them through monthly interactive exchanges, creating a happy time for them and making them continuously feel the care from the society and from Dasin.
