The 67th Love and Caring Action by Volunteers

On August 15, 2020, Dasin Commonweal Volunteer Team once again walked into the homes of the disabled youth Xiao Tong (pseudonym) and the autistic youth Ting Ting (pseudonym) to carry out caring visit services, accompany them with love, and let them feel the care and warmth from the society!

  

  On the day of the visit, the volunteers specially prepared loving gifts and flower arrangement materials and came to the homes of Xiao Tong and Ting Ting. After receiving the loving gifts, the sisters eagerly opened the gift boxes and were very happy after seeing that the boxes were filled with various cute gifts: cool cushions, small fans, scratch cards, etc..

  

  Afterwards, the volunteers took out the raw materials for flower arrangement and asked Xiao Tong, who had just learned a lot about flower arrangement, to guide the volunteers and her family members to arrange flowers. In the process of arranging flowers, Xiao Tong shared a lot of interesting things about learning flower arrangement with the volunteers. She guided everyone how to cut the flowers to make them absorb water better, how to arrange flowers to make the flower box more aesthetic and layered, etc. Under the guidance of Xiao Tong, the volunteers and her family members completed their flower arrangement works one after another. Xiao Tong was full of accomplishment, and a bright smile appeared on her face when she saw that her learning results can guide everyone to complete flower arrangement.

  

  Since Dasin Commonweal Volunteer Team launched the “Child Care Program”, it has carried out in-depth accompaniment and care services for fixed subjects every month, adding color to their lives and bringing happy times to them with love. The warm smiles on their faces are a harvest of the volunteers. In the future, Dasin volunteers will continue to provide caring services and bring more care and warmth to those in need!
