The 66th Volunteer Caring Activity

On July 18, 2020, volunteers from Dasin charity volunteer team came to the home of Xiao Ming (pseudonym) again, a long-term object, to carry out care and visit services. Through communication with Xiao Ming and his grandma, they learned about the current situation of their family.

On the day of the visit, the volunteers specially prepared Xiao Ming's favorite fruits. Knowing volunteers would visit, Xiao Ming and his grandma were very happy to welcome them at the door early. As soon as they saw the volunteers, they invited the volunteers into the room and sat down to share the recent situation of life with the volunteers: in school, his teachers and classmates are very kind to him. Xiao Ming, who loves learning, often discusses subject issues with his teachers. During the visit, Xiao Ming also exchanged his views on many social events with the volunteers, making the volunteers feel that Xiao Ming has grown up a lot that he has own independent thinking ability with multi-angle and comprehensive ideas.

At the same time, the volunteers also cared about grandma's physical condition. During the visit, the volunteers measured grandma's blood pressure, which was still low. So volunteers reminded grandma to pay more attention to body maintenance and nutrition supplement.
Under the long-term follow-up communication, Dasin volunteers have become good friends of Xiaoming's family. In the future, volunteers will continue to provide care services in to make them feel the care and warmth from the society.
