27th Children's Day Event of Dasin Charity

On the afternoon of June 2, 2018, Dasin Charity Volunteer Team liaised with Shiqi District Social Workers Comprehensive Service Center to carry out the event of Dasin Charity Children's Day. Through the game interaction and watching movies, the team enjoyed the happiness with children in the Children's Day.

At the beginning of the event, both children and parents made the self-introduction and soon they begun to become familiar with each other. During the event, a game of "folding up newspapers" was held, where the participants discussed how to get children and volunteers stand closer in fewer newspapers in order to win the game! 

After a round of intense interactive game, they watched the movie "Zootopia" together, and they laughed happily with the funny pieces of the movie. They also became familiar with each other. Some children were sitting around and discussing the movie, while some children relied on volunteers to watch the movie together.

At the end of the event, the volunteers presented their gifts of Children's Day: Xiao Long who likes to draw received a set of finger paintings, and Xiao Yi who likes to make handmade products received the handmade houses. Everyone was full of joy.

Since November 2017, the "Protecting Child Care Program" of Dasin Charity Volunteer Team has been committed to hold the monthly event for children and adolescents who lack love and care in the neighboring areas of Shiqi through peer-to-peer visits, psychological counseling, sharing and exchange and accompanying growth. In this event, the volunteer team took another way to spend a happy time with their support objects. In the future, the volunteer team will continue to adhere to the love outreach, to accompany them to grow with their care and love!
