The 28th Volunteer Love and Care Action

On the afternoon of July 21, 2018, the Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team launched the 28th Volunteer Love and Care Action by conducting a home visit to children and adolescents who need love and care in Shiqi surrounding area, aimed at accompanying and guiding them to grow up with love! 

During the activity, volunteers and Xiaotong (pseudonym), a youth with disability, jointly analyzed the rehabilitation treatment she wanted to carry out, and provided her with the in-depth understanding of the treatment plan and the planning of how to get access to the treatment resources in the future. The volunteers also made in-depth communication and understanding of the further education condition of Xiaoming (pseudonym) who graduates from a primary school and will attend a junior middle school Xiaorui (pseudonym) who graduates from a junior middle school and will attend a senior middle school, and developed the summer vacation plan for them jointly while encouraging them to prepare for the upcoming new campus life; with the in-depth communication and negotiation with the family member of Xiaoqiang (pseudonym), a child with disease, the volunteers were aware of the current situation of Xiaoqiang’s life and analyzed the direction to provide services for Xiaoqiang in the future... 

Since its launch in November 2017, the “Children Care Program” of Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team has been insisting on the services for the children and adolescents in need of love and area in Shiqi surrounding area, and carrying out the paired visits, psychological counseling, sharing and communication, and growth accompanying, etc. It is hoped that the volunteers can become the guardian in their growth path through every action and continuous conveying of love and care!
