Shunde “Harmony and Charity Deed” Event of Love Meal for the Elderly

It is the wish of every to prolong life joyfully, however, there are still many elders in difficulties in Shunde, Foshan facing the difficulties in cooking and having meals. In order to continue to help the elders in difficulties to solve the problem of difficulties in meals and allow them to feel the care of society, on the morning of November 16, 2018, Dasin Metro Mall launched the “Harmony and Charity Deed” Event of Love Meal for the Elderly again, and Dasin Public Welfare Service Center also organized the participation of Dasin volunteers.

On the day of the event, about 100 elders gathered on the site. They sat around, gathered together happily and shared their recent funs with each other. The atmosphere was very cheerful. Before the lunch, Dasin volunteers celebrated the birthday of the elders in that month, and nearly 100 people jointly sang the birthday song for the elders and sent the birthday blessing to them. At 11:00 a.m. , the Loving Lunch was officially started. Dasin volunteers distributed meals for the elders, asked the elders for their dietary preferences from time to time, matched suitable meals for the elders, and reminded the elders of paying attention to their daily eating habits. After the meal was distributed, volunteers and the elders gathered together to share the love lunch.

In this event, Dasin volunteers cared for the elders with careful services. The love lunch not only filled the stomach of the elders but also warmed their hearts and allowed them to feel the rare excitement in the short gathering time, and a different brilliance were overflowing on their faces. In the future, Dasin will continue to stay true to the mission, insist on the actions with love and sincerity, and constantly carry out diversified services in a profound manner so as to contribute to the warmth of the society!
