The 33rd Volunteer Love and Care Action

On the shining morning of January 27, 2019. Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team set off out of love again. The volunteers were divided into three groups, each of them visited a family with teenager or youth who need to be cared around Shiqi, the volunteers visited their home to care them and accompany them. 

On the day of the Campaign, the first group of volunteers visited Xiaoming (pseudonym), a long-term service target who had progressed to junior high school. Xiaoming was taken care of by his elderly grandmother. The volunteers communicated with Xiaoming and his grandmother respectively, they wanted to understand Xiaoming’s inner thoughts and help grandmother to communicate with him in a proper way to promote their relationship.



The second group of volunteers visited Ruirui (pseudonym), a long-term service target who has progressed to high school. Through in-depth communication with Ruirui, they learned that he has made progress in studies after entering high school, but he still doesn’t know how to make friends with classmates. As listeners, the volunteers listened Ruirui’s story with his classmates, they gave him suggestions at proper moments, offered him communication skills, and encouraged him to change a positive way to get along with his classmates.



The third group of volunteers visited the long-term service target—the disabled youth Xiaotong (pseudonym) and Tingting (pseudonym). They were very delighted with the volunteers’ coming, they shared their new skills they learned recently and their online store management with volunteers. By communicating with their mother, the volunteers learned Xiaotong’s inadaptation and reluctance to the new work therapy station. The volunteers then had a communication with Xiaotong. They analyzed the situation and helped Xiaotong to understand her mother, and finally, Xiaotong promised to return to the station.



In this Campaign, Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team has established relations with all long-term follow-up targets and walked into their inner world to listen and give helps through every warm-hearted service. The volunteers hope to make them feel their enthusiasm from every single service. Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team will keep developing and improving the service for future, we hope we could create a more beautiful life for others through unfailing love and care action!
