Show Concern to Sick Children and Convey Happiness

The hospitalized children are a group neglected by the society, who suffer from the indisposition torments and lose the time of having fun happily. In order to bring joy to the hospitalized children and their parents, and show more social concern to them, on August 4, 2019, the "Lvying School" Sick Child Concern Service carried out by Dasin Public Welfare Volunteer Team and Lvying Service Team was formally launched.

"Lvying School" Sick Child Concern Service brought the relaxing and merry parent-child time for the hospitalized children and their parents through abundant interesting activity courses, including handwork, clay sculpture, painting, picture book reading and film watching, and helped them relieve the discomfort or anxiety brought by disease.

After the service was launched, Dasin volunteers and volunteers from Lvying Service Team carried out services in the hospital of Torch Development Zone in their spare time on each Sunday in August. Through game interaction, joint painting and production of handiwork, the volunteers accompanied the hospitalized children. With the encouragement and support of the volunteers, the children produced the exquisite handiwork and finished small challenges in game interaction, so they were very happy.

The concern service of the volunteers made the hospitalized children forget about the treatment pains for the time being and enriched their hospitalized life. Meanwhile, by communicating with the family of sick children, the volunteers knew about the recent conditions of children in hospitalization and treatment, and cheered up for them.

In the future, the volunteers will continue to carry out services in the hospital per week, and bring happy time to the hospitalized children through loving servies!
